I am an oncology nurse with over 19 years of experience in taking care of patients and clients diagnosed with all types of cancer. I have specialized in chemotherapy infusion, oncology research, oncology triage, oncology data abstractor, oncology case manager, and hospice. I served in the Army as an oncology nurse clinician, and was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq as a nurse during the Operation Enduring Freedom Campaign in 2003. I served in Egypt during the Bright Star Exercise whereby we met and drilled with our Middle Eastern allies at Cairo Air Force Base. I received the Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2001. I studied Health and Social Policies at Leeds University in Leeds England in 2001. I received the Master's degree in Nursing Education in 2017 from Herzing University. I am presently employed as a Charge Nurse on the Acute Oncology floor at a local and progressive hospital.
